CHESAPEAKE, VA (June 19, 2017) —The Holiday Inn Express Chesapeake, Virginia, located at the entrance of the Chesapeake Conference Center is now open. LTD Hospitality Group purchased the hotel and invested significant capital to fully renovate and rebrand the hotel to complement the gateway to the City's hub for meetings and conventions. "We are thrilled with the finished product of the hotel conversion,” said Neel Desai, Managing Principal for LTD Hospitality Group, who also recently purchased the adjacent Delta Hotels by Marriott. "LTD has a long history of investing in Chesapeake and we look forward to the success of this hotel being added to our thriving portfolio,” said Desai. The 101-room hotel, located at 721 Conference Center Drive officially opened for business last Thursday, June 15th. The latest designs from the Holiday Inn Express brand were used to bring vibrancy and functionality to the transformation of all new collaborative spaces. Guest rooms include options of two queen beds, standard king beds or suites, which offer extra living space and a sleeper sofa. All rooms are equipped with mini-refrigerators, microwaves and Keurig coffee makers. The hotel offers a number of mobility-accessible and hearing-accessible rooms; all rooms are non-smoking. “We’re excited to be one of the newest hotels in Hampton Roads, just in time for a projected busy tourist season,” said General Manager, Rachel Rivas. “We want to be a new, great place for people to stay that gives both leisure and business travelers many opportunities to explore and enjoy the area. Our prime location close to restaurants and shopping, is an ideal place to stay with proximity to many corporations and military installations,” said Rivas.

Chesapeake, VA (March 27, 2017): LTD Hospitality Group is pleased to welcome Adam Legault as their new corporate director of operations. In this role, Legault will be responsible for a portfolio of hotels ensuring they exceed their financial goals as well as customer service objectives. “We are excited to have Adam join our corporate management team,” said Neel D. Desai, LTD’s Managing Principal. “His multi-unit leadership expertise in building a strong culture of high performing hotel teams will be an asset to our company as we expand our footprint.” Adam joins LTD with over twenty six years of hospitality experience – starting as a front desk clerk and working his way up through all levels of management. Upon graduating from the University of North Florida, Adam joined La Quinta Inns and Suites as an Assistant General Manager. Over twenty years and many promotions later, as a Regional Vice President of Operations, he oversaw La Quinta’s largest portfolio of corporate-owned rooms and revenue. “I’m excited to join the LTD team and to be a part of such a successful company,” says Legault about his new role. “I look forward to working with the hotel teams on the opportunities to add value to the hotel assets.”

CHESPEAKE, VA (December 12, 2016) —Neel Desai, Managing Principal of LTD Hospitality Group is pleased to announce that LTD has closed on the purchase of the Marriott Hotels property located on Woodlake Drive at the entrance of the Chesapeake Conference Center. Currently plans are to re-brand the hotel to Marriott International’s, full service Delta Hotels by Marriott brand in March of 2017. LTD will strengthen the hotel’s position in the market through a complete modernization and renovation of the 230 guestrooms, 12,000 square feet of meeting space and lobby. “The strong performance of the LTD portfolio has enabled additional pipeline expansion.” said Desai. “The acquisition of the full service Marriott property in the city where our company roots were established affirms our long-term commitment to the Chesapeake market.” Earlier in 2016, LTD purchased the adjacent property Studio & Suites 4 Less which is currently closed and in the process of a significant renovation to be open as a Holiday Inn Express & Suites by May of 2017. “The ability to market this new property along with LTD’s other Marriott brands of SpringHill Suites, Residence Inn and Aloft will be a compelling advantage not only for our sales team, but for the City of Chesapeake as well.” added Desai. “We anticipate a seamless transition as our senior leaders work with the new hotel’s employees to introduce our vision, values and best practices, while working to enhance excellence in guest service.” In April 2015, Marriott International, Inc. acquired the Delta Hotels and Resorts management and franchise business from Delta Hotels Limited Partnership, a subsidiary of British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (bcIMC). The brand brings a rich history and an exciting range of properties to the Marriott portfolio and currently consists of more than 35 hotels and nearly 10,000 rooms.
